Stone Print – Geometric Star

Rasha’s artistic style pays tribute to the traditional carvings of her homeland of Yemen and Sufi Islamic art, as well as European 19th century realism and post-impressionism. This A5 print is the result of a long and careful process – to begin with, Rasha carves her intricate designs into a block of slate stone, before using this to create her series of layered prints.

This design is printed onto Kuzo paper and is inspired by the sacred shapes of geometric Islamic art.
